IMIX AI for Good Comms

Artificial Intelligence is reshaping how we work — but for charities working with complex issues and vulnerable communities, using AI responsibly is essential. This AI for Ethical & Trauma-Informed Communications Course is designed specifically for the third sector, helping organisations harness the potential of AI (like ChatGPT) while staying rooted in values, safeguarding, and care.

This course explores how AI can support communications, content creation, and strategic planning — without compromising trust, accuracy, or the dignity of those you serve. It offers a practical, accessible introduction to AI tools, with a strong focus on ethics, trauma-informed practice, and lived experience.

  • You’ll learn how to:

    • Use AI to support day-to-day comms, storytelling, and campaign planning
    • Understand the risks and limitations of AI in sensitive contexts
    • Build internal guidelines for ethical and inclusive AI use
    • Create content that centres safety, dignity, and authenticity
    • Increase capacity without losing the human touch
  • Whether you’re a small comms team, a frontline worker, or a leader navigating digital change, this course helps you make informed, confident choices about using AI in a way that aligns with your mission.

  • This course can be delivered in-person, online, through our e-learning platform or as blended delivery.

  • There are no entry requirements for this course.

  • CPD Accreditation Pending.

  • This course is subject to our sliding scale for fees, based on the turnover of the charity. For a single day the charge would be between £1000 – £1600 in person.

For individual learners the fees will be from £150 – £250 depending on delivery mode.
